We Are Borneo Resorts

Borneo.R (Borneo Resorts Sdn Bhd) was incorporated as a Special Purpose Vehicle for the privatization of a 200-acre plot of land in Lojing Highlands from the Kelantan State Government via YAKIN, orginally intended as a highlands resort.

With tourism activities in the area still fledgling, the Company decided to maintain the farming infrastructure, and started farming-business activities on October 2019 gradually scaling up from an initial 10 acres of farm area. The principal activities of Borneo Resorts Sdn Bhd today comprise the growing of temperate vegetable crops with hydroponic methods, collection and distribution of vegetables crops, and farm rental-management. 

We will position ourselves as a supplier of premium export-quality vegetables, which will cater for export or local top restaurants. This includes premium varieties of otherwise commonly sourced lowland vegetables such as chilis, yin sai, kailan, turnips, spinach etc.

Borneo.R aims to be a profitable & niche planter of temperate crops in the tropics. 

 

Mission

It will position itself as a reliable and consistent supplier of quality, wide-range of origin-traceable temperate vegetables crops for Malaysia and the region; promoting self-sufficiency and food security for the region. 

 

Goal

Borneo.R ‘s goal is to be the supplier of choice for fresh vegetables in premium supermarket chains in Malaysia and Singapore whom value quality and supply consistency.
